The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for an exciting future in B2B marketing. The role will involve working closely with our global teams to deliver effective marketing programs that produce outstanding results. You will provide the marketing support to the business development teams to grow the business and acquire business leads; account management teams with providing clients with the service and support they require; and generally assisting in delivering the marketing plan across the company, promoting it using relevant channels and building relationships. The role will demand multi-tasking a number of priorities and projects and helping to deliver a return on marketing investment.
The role in detail includes:
- Assisting the marketing manager in the administration and delivery of the global marketing plan.
- Attending meetings and liaising with internal teams on their marketing requirements, producing briefs for campaigns and projects and ensuring they are delivered to schedule.
- Liaising with relevant staff and clients to produce briefs and content for case studies, news stories, press releases and publication editorial.
- Review the website regularly and ensure it is up to date with content, news & events, logos etc as required.
- Assist in managing collateral development projects (merchandise, leave behinds, exhibition material) and liaise with external suppliers.
- Assist in the build and delivery of company email newsletters and other marketing communications.
- Co-ordinate the planning and marketing of all internal; external client and prospect events, including trade shows and conferences.
- Assist in the management of all multi-channel and sector-specific marketing communication campaigns to help generate leads.
- Manage the relationships with affiliate partners to ensure they are leveraged and nutured to their full potential.
Skills and Experience Required
To fit in, it's important that you share our enthusiastic, proactive approach to growing our company. B2B marketing experience is a must as well as a can do attitude. We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, multi task and work well in a strongly motivated team. The preferred candidate would be able to demonstrate the following:
- Marketing-related degree / diploma is beneficial.
- 2-5 years experience in a B2B marketing (preferably digital/online) role.
- A strong technical understanding of digital solutions available in the market.
- An excellent understanding of strategic (email/digital) marketing in order to plan and deliver fully integrated campaigns.
- The ability to work with 3rd party suppliers (technical and creative).
- Candidate needs to be extremely efficient and organised as it is a multi tasking, multi project environment.
- Ability to work well within a deadline-based environment.
- Enthusiastic, fast learner.
